It's important that individuals start to question themselves honestly and take a hard look at their beliefs. Do you honestly know WHY you BELIEVE what you believe?

I find very few are willing to go past their first usual answer to that question (which is "because I do") to understand why they are in belief of something. This question encompasses all areas of Faith, Family, Finances and Fitness. It's not ok just to go along with the status quo.

A few good books to start the process of challenging our thinking no matter where you are in life are:

• Leadership and Self Deception by Arbinger

• There's No Such Thing As "Business" Ethics: There's Only One Rule For Making Decisions by John C. Maxwell

My belief is that if we start to challenge are own INDIVIDUAL THINKING and we're honest with ourselves as we continue on the process to become better INDIVIDUALS change happens.

As you said in your post, “When you have a leadership that is immoral that are running your city it is common sense to see how that immoral leadership is reflected through the citizens.” It’s time we take a stand at all levels of our government and let the politicians know that the citizens what people of high character not CHARACTERS that are HIGH!

You are correct when you say, “We need to check elected officials representing Detroit. Remember, these are Democratic leaders whose main job is to keep us on the plantation.”

A few good books to get people thinking on that note of course are:

• It's OK to Leave the Plantation: The New Underground Railroad by C. Mason Weaver

• The Rope: A New Perspective on Freedom and Success by C. Mason Weaver

My prayer is that people wake up and say enough is enough! It’s MY FAMILY it’s MY RESPONSIBILITY to care and nurture this family not the governments, not the media, not the schools, not the neighborhood…but MINE!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
