Wake up out of your ignorance of self and stop buying everything that white people have been telling us about us and who we are. From teaching that some blonde head man is your lord and saviour, to whitening up all aspects of a religion that is basically used to further his own racist agenda, for people of color to keep buying into is exactly what Willie Lynch and others like him were hoping for. Enlightened Black men like Dr. Malik Zulu Shabazz, The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan are needed now more than ever before because they refuse to do a jig for the evil racist element of the U.S. Many more of us need to stand up and many of us are. Many of us have spoken and continue to speak out against the rappers who themselves disrespect women on a regular basis. But because we have chosen other means other than reprimanding these misguided brothers on Fox news or some other white venue, then you are told that the only time we become outraged is when a white person says something that we perceive as racist. Stop falling for it people of color.

Let's begin. You said:

I first want to you remind you the issue at hand is not whether the radical statements made by members of the black panthers throughout the past decade have been insensitive or if past leaders within the black community have over stepped their boundaries with their rhetoric but it is about whether the 12 team members of the Rutgers Women's basketball team deserved to hear derogatory statements made about them on a nationally syndicated talk show.

These women, just like other female basketball teams in college (and I have partied and been around them for years) call each other this all the time. Why are people upset? Beacuse the race pimps made us upset. I not supporting Imus but we have said things that are atrocious towards others in the past yet we get a free pass.

Men like Shabazz and Malcolm when speaking, were addressing a very specific audience. People who chose to be present at those gatherings and believed in the ideologies and mission of these men. On the other Hand Don Imus isn't speaking to a specific audience he is addressing the entire nation.

That is not true. While they were speaking to a "specific" audience they sell CD's, DVD's and not we have YOUTUBE.com where we can punch in their name and watch their message of hate all acorss the country.

I am not arguing that individuals within the black community have or have not made biased statements, but what I am saying is those factors are irrelevant.

These factors are relevant. The Nuwaubian Moors are not a group founded 70 years ago. I was a member of this group for 15 years. I have been raised on Black Nationalism. What I found out was that there is nothig but hate, no family structure and I also learned how they use psychological control through religion to capture a mass group to promote their wack message. All those groups mentioned in my post were not from the past but I have experienced every last one of them myself. Now unelss you have been down the same exact path as I have you cannot even begin to comment on what is relevant and what is not irrelevant.

(Deep Sigh)There is an old saying that goes, "two ...

(Deep Sigh)
There is an old saying that goes, "two wrongs, don't make a right."

You argue Don Imus is a racist yet you neglect to mention his comments were also sexist.

If you truly want to get technical, men like Shabazz and Malcolm when speaking, were addressing a very specific audience. People who chose to be present at those gatherings and believed in the ideologies and mission of these men. On the other Hand Don Imus isn't speaking to a specific audience he is addressing the entire nation.

I am not arguing that individuals within the black community have or have not made biased statements, but what I am saying is those factors are irrelevant. What Malcolm said 70 years ago or what I may have said yesterday does not give anyone the right to blatany disrespect others.

So what if if Don Imus "helps" black children or has black friends. Those women did not deserve to referred to as "Nappy Headed Hoes." And your insensitivity along with thousands of men across the country is just as appalling as the statements made by Imus.
